I designed and sized this sock pattern to shape it to my own feet. I’m publishing it so that I can make more matching socks again in the future, or have a basic pattern I can expand upon that I know will fit well.

The toe area of this sock is mostly tapered on the pinky toe side, and the pattern makes specific Left and Right foot socks. The heel is made using German short rows across most of the stitches - instead of just the back half - and creates a very strong 90 degree angle. The leg portion of the sock can be knit to any length, up to about 15.5” long unworn. (For some perspective, this length sits about 11.5” up my own leg.) The cuff is made from a 1.5” section of thicker Double Stockinette and is bound off with Kitchener stitch to create a rolled look at the top.

Magic loop is recommended, at least for the cast on.
